You can buy albums / tracks licenses for your own pleasure! Personal use grants you to reproduce your product in private locations or private / no profit events
COMMERCIAL USE
You have to buy albums / tracks licenses directly from ASCAP for reproduce / streaming / broadcasting on public locations or public / commercial events (ex. clubs, restaurants, gyms, live concerts etc.)
SYNCHRONIZATION USE
You can buy tracks licenses for synchronize music on your video work; the license* grants you the right of synchronize only one work for each purchased track and publish the final work only on social media platforms; for other types of streaming / broadcasting you have to buy a commercial license as explained above
